SOUPY MOOD

Hailing from Nipaluna/Tasmania, Soupy Mood is an original indie rock/folk group inspired by the equal parts dread and whimsy of your late twenties. Introspection through melancholic lyrics and vibrant instrumentation, they are perfect for the overthinker in your life who loves a cathartic jam out.

Since their debut in July of 2025, the gang has booked several shows supporting various favourites of the Nipaluna music scene, including Q.E, Townie, and Verticoli to name a few. In November of the same year they opened for acclaimed experimental group hailing from Aotearoa, Serebii, and then made their first festival appearance at Bonzaki Festival over New Years. In 2026 the soups have continued to perform with fellow local bands across Nipaluna, and made two appearances at the iconic Dark Mofo festival in June. Now soon to be releasing their debut single, Time Traveller (coming October 29th), Soupy Mood is preparing for the next evolution of journey, set to release an EP in early 2027.
