SOUPY MOOD

Hailing from Nipaluna/Tasmania, Soupy Mood is an original indie rock/folk group fronted by Sasha Gavlek. Inspired by the equal parts dread and whimsy of your late twenties, Soupy Mood features introspective themes through melancholic lyrics and vibrant instrumentation, perfect for the overthinker in your life who loves a cathartic jam out.

Since their recent debut in July of 2025, the gang has booked several shows supporting Nipaluna favourites including the expansive and illustrious Q.E, and the raucous and long adored Verticoli. In November 2025 they will open for acclaimed experimental act hailing from New Zealand, Serebii, and will be making their first festival debut at Bonzaki Festival over New Years.
